If you’re interested in color theory, or you like beautifully-designed little games, or you just feel like being bad at something today (OH MY GOD SLOW DOWN TOO MANY COLORS), try this.

today
one of my vice principles told me that my generation is wired differently and that we can’t figure anything out for ourselves and depend on technology
because i had trouble figuring out which was was east from the inside of her office

she said is was a generation gap, when it’s really just me
-having difficulties with directional comprehension
-not having any sort of landmark to discern direction from
-still swimming with melatonin and hadn’t woken up yet
-jesus christ i still hadn’t eaten since yesterday afternoon

f uck off just because i do something stupid/can’t figure something out doesn’t mean my entire generation “can’t figure anything out”

Among the movies of Hayao Miyazaki, 1997′s Princess Mononoke stands tall as one of his greatest achievements and as the film that brought widespread awareness of his work to America.

Now, the original version of story envisioned by Miyazaki in 1980 has been published as Princess Mononoke: The First Story, an oversize hardcover storybook by VIZ Media through its Studio Ghibli Library imprint.

The storybook features Miyazaki’s original watercolor artwork, which complements his thoughtfully written fable about man’s need to maintain ecological balance with nature that became the origin for the 1997 feature film.
